About

My name is Diane (Goldie) Lashbrook, President of Goldie Buys Houses. Goldie was my mother’s middle name, and I use it as a tribute to her.

Our mission is to help owners in any situation. No matter if you are in foreclosure, in bankruptcy, have a probate case to be settled, owe back taxes, are facing divorce or many other reasons, you can call us at 954-707-0096 and we will let you know what your options are. I’ve been a real estate investor for more than 19 years, and have had my Florida real estate license for over 13. I am now associated with Charles Rutenberg Realty Fort Lauderdale.

I’m originally from Toledo, Ohio, but have been here in South Florida for over 30 years. I was also a real estate agent in Ohio before I relocated. I love real estate because no two transactions are ever the same and I’m always learning something new. It took a divorce (February 14th, 2002, yes Valentine’s Day) for me to become a real estate investor. My husband at the time was not much of a risk taker and didn’t want to begin investing in real estate. It was 10 months after my divorce when I acquired my first investment property.

Diane (Goldie) Lashbrook,

President of Goldie Buys Houses

I’ve been going to BRIC (Boca Real Estate Investment Club) for over 19 years and have been a member for over 10. It’s a great venue to network and gain knowledge. Remember, you’re never too old to learn! David Dweck is the founder and President of BRIC, and his meeting is the second Thursday of every month.

Anyone who knows me knows that I had a dog named Jack. I’m sad to say we lost him in March 5 years ago. He was 16, but he was very dear to me. I would usually introduce us as “Jack and Diane” (for those of you who know John Mellencamp’s song). Most people would tend to remember our names that way!
